Another day, another class. Three words; what. a. bore. She wasn't doing anything in here, it was just another science class that was a basic review including all the small lectures using words that weren't actually needed, and most likely making the majority of the students to doze off as the teacher nagged on. The worst part was that there was nothing to stare at. Diamond tended to be very unfocused. Her eyes wandered the room desperately to try and find something to occupy her attention with so that the time would possibly pass a little quicker but it was to no avail. With the droning she her in the background to her thoughts, it made it seem like each second passing was the equivalent to a lifetime. Oh how she wished she could just escape this class and run back to her room. She wanted nothing more than to change into a nice pair of soft pajamas and curl up with a good book.
She leaned forward at the table she was sitting in to rest her elbow on it so he could lay his chin in his palm. Honestly, if she were to do anything else at that moment, she would have been on the roof or back in his dorm reading one of the next novels in the book series she was working on. Or else, just walking around and trying to find something to kill time. Letting out a large yawn, she stared blankly out the window until finally something that the teacher had written down on the white board caught her attention. They were doing another lab. Joy. Rolling her eyes at the mere thought, she straightened up in her seat only to slide out a little bit in a relaxed position. This was all review right? It wasn't as if it wasn't going to be easy.
Turning to face the girl next to her and taking a lazy glance over at the chemicals and test tubes that had already been set onto the table, she gave a small nod and asked, "So, what do you want to do? The worksheet or the chemicals? It'd be faster if we each worked on one thing and we could ask each other for help if we needed it." As she talked, her eyes took in her face and features. She knew her name, but she hadn't talked to her before, at least, not that much. But of course, Diamond was the huge social type. She could tell you the names to many people on campus, but when it came to knowing anything beyond that she was clueless. She found being around people for extended periods of time made her usually feel slightly uncomfortable, she often found herself wishing to be anywhere else.
